Welcome to Hey Mom. By booking a call, joining the waitlist, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are designed to keep our space safe, warm, and respectful for everyone.

 

1. Nature of the Service

Hey Mom provides emotional support conversations with nurturing independent contractors (“Hey Moms”).

Hey Mom is not:

• Therapy

• Counseling

• Medical advice

• Crisis intervention

• A substitute for professional mental health care

If you are in crisis or in danger, please contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline.

 

2. Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy matters.

• Your phone number is never shared with the mom.

• Calls are made through our private system.

• Moms are required to keep all conversations confidential.

However, Hey Mom may disclose information if required by law or if we believe someone is at risk of harm.

 

3. Payment & Refunds

Payment is collected at the time of booking.

•Cancellations made 4+ hours before your appointment are fully refundable.

•Cancellations made within 4 hours are non‑refundable.

•No‑shows are non‑refundable.

This protects our moms’ time and emotional energy.

 

4. Scheduling & Missed Calls

Your mom will call you at the scheduled time.

•If you do not answer within 5 minutes, the call is marked as a no‑show.

•No‑shows are non‑refundable.

If your mom must cancel due to an emergency, you will receive a free reschedule or full refund.

 

5. Appropriate Use

You agree to:

•Speak respectfully

•Not use abusive, threatening, or inappropriate language

•Not request medical, legal, or therapeutic advice

•Not attempt to form personal relationships outside the platform

Violation of these guidelines may result in removal from the platform.

 

6. Independent Contractors

Hey Moms are independent contractors, not employees.

They provide emotional support, not professional services.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

Hey Mom is not responsible for:

•Decisions you make after a call

•Emotional outcomes

•Technical issues or call disruptions

Our service is provided “as is.”

 

8. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated version.
